Position: Case Manager - Youth
Supervised by: Program Manager & Director of Programs
Department: Housing Stability
Classification: Part-Time 20 hours per week
Position Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Pendleton Main Office
Wage: $23.17/hourly

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Work with the Department of Human Services and foster families to assist youth who are or were in foster care to become self-sufficient. Assess the participants’ needs and develop and maintain a transition plan for each youth. Conduct meetings and provide supportive wrap around services that will assist the youth to achieve goals for self-sufficiency. Facilitate life skills classes and provide coaching on topics including, but not limited to, the provision of money management, household maintenance, cooking, transportation, health, community resources, housing options, personal hygiene, and employment readiness. The position will also attend overnight camps with youth in accommodations that can include dorms and cabins.

This job operates the majority of its time in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smart phones, photocopiers/scanners, shredders and filing cabinets.
